About Claire
This section of my website tells you a little about me.
I always feel a little awkward writing about myself.
However I am aware that it may feel a little out of the ordinary for you as a client to contact me to come and get right up close and personal (And by that I mean touching your face and hair )
So with that, I'd like for you to get to know me a little via this page so I don't feel like a complete stranger when we meet.
Some of my interests are Meditation, Yoga, Mindfulness, Gong baths, Music and seeing live bands, Backpacking around Asian countries, travelling around the UK (especially the Lake district, Wales and the Southern coast)
Waterfall chasing, wild swimming and well being activities.
I love driving with the top down on my little mini with the wind blowing in my hair, the sunshine on my face and singing along to my eclectic playlists.
I own a trailer tent which I've named Serenity.
I have pimped her up with cushions, bed throws and trinkets I picked up on my travels around India and Sri Lanka.
l often hook her up and take her to well being festivals, on camping excursions and to music festivals around the UK.
I am a cat Mum to a gorgeous loving little girl called Neenya.
Neenya (Meaning Little girl in Spanish) She was rescued from Spain and came to the UK with her very own passport. If you follow me on Instagram you will often see Neenya sat on my shoulders proof reading the emails I'm sending out to you ;)
She is AKA my PA and the CEO of Claire Make up and Hair.
I do hope after reading this little section, you feel a little more familiar with the person behind vour computer screen.

About me as a makeup artist and hair stylist
With over 20 years of experience as a makeup artist and hair stylist, I have developed a refined skill set that allows me to create stunning looks for my clients.
I work both Nationally and Internationally and have experience working with many ethnicities, skin types and tones, hair types and ages.
I work in the Bridal, Fashion, Editorial and Advertising industries.
Some of the highlights of my career include working at London
Fashion week, working with models and a camel on a fashion shoot in the Sinai Dessert in Egypt, climbing a mountain in the Peak District for a high fashion editorial shoot, living in Thailand for 3 years as a makeup artist to destination brides and occasionally working with a celeb.
My passion for enhancing natural beauty and instilling confidence in my clients is what drives me to provide exceptional service. Whether it's for a Wedding day, special occasion or a professional photoshoot, I am committed to delivering the highest level of quality and ensuring my clients feel their absolute best.
